SoftShell Turtle 

Our friends from church, Mr. Lee and Ms. Kay found this full size soft shell turtle, so we went to see it right away! This is the full size version of my very first featured creature. 

The first featured creature is my softshell turtle, his name is Softy! 

He has a playful personality and is always ready to eat mini river shrimp from my hand! 

His light colored shell is because in the wild he will hide in the sand for the perfect camouflage. One of my favorite things about Softy are the spots on his head and legs!
